Lisa Cocuzza founder of It's a Glam Thing is a publicist & writer. Lisa has developed and implemented PR campaigns for beauty, fashion, fitness and individuals in the US and Canada. You'll enjoy her column "Glam Boutique" in Ms. Fitness magazine. Lisa travels throughout the US visiting trade shows including Premiere Orlando, Cosmoprof North America, IBS New York, The California Gift Show, America's Beauty Show and The International Salon & Spa Expo where she reports from the show floor. Lisa and her team are regular attendees at Los Angeles & New York VIP events.

A former beauty business owner, Lisa has always had a passion for fashion and beauty. She entered the PR field after handling PR for her own company, amongst her other duties. She secured lasting relationships with editors of major consumer and trade publications while handling her PR for own company. Born and raised in Providence, Rhode Island she spent over 20 years in Los Angeles, CA where she built solid relationships with celebrities and celebrity publicists adding to the appeal of her services.

As an add on to her PR business, she began It's a Glam Thing for companies looking for introductions to the mass market plus some quick hype and for the loyal consumers who put these companies on the map. By providing swag bags for VIP events and gifts for magazine, newspaper and on-line give-aways, Lisa has created a "Win, Win" situation for both the product company and the consumer. The brands get the exposure and the consumer and/or event attendee gets some great swag. Lisa is able to successfully create relationships for her PR clients and It’s a Glam Thing sponsors with celebrities, editors & consumers.

As It’s a Glam Thing grew, Lisa recruited a team of professionals to join in growing the “It’s a Glam Thing” brand. She also created GetGlam.TV where she has produced celebrity beauty & style webisodes. Lisa enjoys being behind the scenes contributing to and watching the continued success of her clients, the It’s a Glam Thing sponsors and her team members. Lisa’s PR clients have been seen on shows including but not limited to Today, Your Carolina, The Daily Dish, Charlotte Today, Fox news Rising, Good Day Houston, Sonoran Living Live and more. Lisa’s team of It’s a Glam Thing beauty experts present a vast majority of these show segments.
